SPINACH AND CHEESE SAMOSAS

SHARE THIS RECIPE:
Ingredients:
- 450 g spinach
- 8 Laughing Cow cheese wedges
- 1 sweet onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp pepper
- Salt to taste
- Filo pastry
- 80 g butter (for brushing)
PreparaTIOn:
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC
- First, dice the onion
- Add 10g of butter to a frying pan, add and brown the onion
- Add the garlic and once combined, add the spinach. Let it reduce until all the liquid evaporates
- Add the nutmeg, salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat
- Take the mixture off the heat and let it cool down
- Once cold, unwrap the cheese wedges and mix with the spinach mixture until you get a paste-like consistency
- Cut the filo pastry in wide strips of about 5 cm
- Melt the rest of the butter and brush over the filo pastry
- Fill the pastry making triangular shaped bags and bake at 180ºC for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes has passed, turn the samosas over and bake for another 10 minutes
- Serve warm and enjoy!
